HOW THE WORK IS BUILT
Nothing here is an accident.

Every card is verified against its checksum before a single frame is touched. Originals are archived untouched; the edit runs on proxies. A corrupt card found on day one is a reshoot — found in post it is a lost job.

The track is analysed for tempo and structure before a single clip is placed, so every cut lands on a computed frame instead of a guessed one. Rounding a beat interval drifts nearly two frames every eight bars — visible by the second chorus.

The whole shoot is viewed, clip by clip, with notes taken per clip before anything is chosen. One frame per clip is a survey — the peak of a take almost always lives between the samples.

The timeline is built from a written edit plan — source, in, out, position, speed — so the structure is auditable before it is beautiful. Cuts land one to two frames early so the impact reads on the beat, not after it.

Each clip is balanced to match black point, density and highlight roll-off against its neighbours first. Only then does a single master texture sit on top. A blanket grade over mixed sources crushes some shots and barely touches others.

Levels are delivered to platform spec so nothing is re-compressed on upload. Sound design is built to the same grid as the picture — the impact belongs on the cut, not near it.

Each platform gets its own export at its own spec rather than one file reused everywhere. The master, the project and the grade are archived together so the film can be recut years later.
